Sometimes when you’re hosting a Toronto Fashion Week party, models show up (normal practice for a fashion and beauty industry event hosted during one of the city’s biggest fashion events of the year). And sometimes, model-guests who weren’t on the list arrive (again, standard procedure): an open bar and Instagram-induced FOMO can have that effect. But one party-crasher of note–who turned up at the hotel party before it had officially started–even surprised our veteran communications squad when a certain Cara Delevingne strolled in with actor Scott Eastwood by her side and an armful of takeout between them (Delevingne is in town filming Suicide Squad). Carlie McGhee, one of our pro communications specialists, snapped the British supe, who happily shared her I-turned-up-to-a-party-like-this outfit on her Instagram.
The night buzzed on as notable members from Toronto’s top fashion and beauty PR teams, Canadians supes (like Emma Genier, fresh off the Paris runways) and editors strolled in and out. The whole night was basically one more reason that Toronto is one of the hottest places to be right now.
